The entertainment village was the first stage in a long metamorphosis of the Inspire Integrated Resort entertainment component. The entertainment village was designed as an integral part of the resort, all indoors, contemporary, and non-branded. While the overall master plan, architecture and the environments were exciting and well received, there were two major challenges with this conceit. All indoor concept has proven to be too expensive, and non-branded approach did not resonate with the market study. Naturally, the client has moved towards an open-air theme park campus approach, and a big brand name was chosen to generate the entertainment content of the development. Hetzel Design is in the schematic design phase of this new branded design, and looking forward to sharing it as soon as it becomes public knowledge.
