Beginning with the ancient echoes of rituals and extending forward through time to the grand spectacles of the legendary performance venues of Rome, our connection to, and need for, the performing arts has grown stronger through the ages. Religious pageants and rites, to the glorious extravagance of royal courts, all advanced the artform and further awakened humankind’s never-ending thirst for more performance…
The Renaissance sparked a freedom and passion, expanding the potential of the performing arts while the traditional Chinese literati was so deep and meaningful that it reached to the very depths of the soul.
And so, Zhuhai Songcheng Performance Kingdom is based on this legacy of performance and art, charting the course of artistic development and demonstrating humankind’s endless passion for more music, movement and spectacle. Inside this magnificent Performance Kingdom, guests will find multiple performance venues, this is a place that celebrates all aspects of live entertainment, placing performance at the very core and driving the experiential factor of the entire concept.
Along with the spectacular collection of performance arts, there are other elements to expand the guest experience, including Mama’s Farm, where young children and their families are enveloped in the warmth of playful interactions in a natural setting. There are also inviting water parks, zoos and a state-of-the-art tech museum that let’s visitors get a glimpse of the future, which stands in sharp and compelling contrast with the ages old performance styles that are on display throughout this vast and varied Performance Kingdom. And finally, there is a uniquely beautiful resort area, offering 5,000 guest rooms for visitors not only visit this land of wonders, but to stay there long enough to experience everything this enchanted Performance Kingdom has to offer.
Zhuhai Songcheng Performance Kingdom is a joyful and natural world that provides a platform for everyone to enjoy the world’s greatest collection of performance styles and encourages all that visit to socialize and interact with family and friends in a unique, one-of-a-kind attraction.

In collaboration with Sela’s exceptional creative team, this project is a visionary blue-sky exercise in location-based entertainment, with a focus on the future, technology, and ecology. Designed to both entertain and educate, World of Future promotes science, research, and natural conservation.
Centered around the theme of water and its preservation, the project addresses one of the world’s most pressing issues, particularly critical in the arid landscapes of KSA. Guests embark on a journey along the global water conveyor belt, experiencing three immersive environments dedicated to each of water’s physical states—solid, liquid, and vapor. Each environment offers not only engaging entertainment but also opportunities to learn and take action in the fight against the global water crisis.

There’s magic and wonder brewing in Nayarit that might just bring about a revolution in entertainment. Already stunning, the high-end Vidanta resort in Nuevo Vallarta will double in capacity over the next three years. A world-class theme park, and an entertainment boardwalk featuring a major Cirque the Soleil attraction will anchor this new development. This new concept in family vacationing will fuse luxury with imagination, creating a fantastical world where adventures leap to life through immersive rides, attractions, and interactive performances. Highly thematic new resort hotels will surround and compliment the entertainment hub, so that every moment of the vacation experience is filled with magic and amazement.

DreamEast envisioned this very ambitious concept for a theme park, with a goal to celebrate the riches of Chinese cultural heritage in an immersive and entertaining way. We based the master plan on Chinese ancient coin- round with a square hole- soft and permeable on the outside, rigid and strong at its core.

Each land celebrates different concept- inventions, history, dreams, and mythology. A mountain with a castle serves as a backdrop for multiple attractions and environments. Carefully choreographed urban vignettes from different parts of China coexist with fantasy-style oversized scripts, lanterns and fans, in fanciful celebration of one of the World’s greatest cultures.

In collaboration with Legacy Entertainment (content, creative direction), Hetzel Design provided architectural design for a large entertainment campus consisting of 6 water park pavilions. Each of the pavilions projects its individual identity through unique contemporary design, featuring a retractable roof. The entry pavilion is flanked by RDE on both sides. The glazed tubular bridge connects all pavilions, providing for seamless and comfortable guest circulation in winter months.
