Sela appointed Hetzel Design to conceptualize a Cirque de Soleil Park in Aseer Province. While the Cirque is the main theme of this entertainment venue, it needed to woven into the cultural milieu and artistic heritage of the Aseer Region in Saudi Arabia.
Aseer regional art and architecture informed the design of the entry gate hotel, as well as many of theme-park structures and urban ensembles. The cirque overlay allowed for immersive, enchanting, and magical environments.
The park has several distinct zones, including the Day Village, the Night Village, Performance village, Water park, and the Resort Core.
